About Alicia Alzugaray
A human resources professional with experience across a variety of corporate structures, Alicia Alzugaray began her career as a Payroll Specialist with Draeger Construction. During her five years with the company, she compiled payroll data, processed earning and deduction statements, and assisted with human resources-related tasks. In 2010, Alicia Alzugaray joined T-Bird Restaurant Group as Human Resources Administrator, in which role she provided guidance and support in employment practices to over 63 Outback Steakhouse locations throughout California.
From 2012 to 2016, Alicia Alzugaray worked for Mi Pueblo Foods, where she provided coaching to a staff of over 3,200 managers and employees in regard to new company policies and procedures as well as compliance laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. During her time with Mi Pueblo Foods she partnered with a new Executive team and venture capitalist firm in the successful restructure of business operations and processes by developing new initiatives that improved employee relations and engagement and reduced employee turnover. Since 2016, Alzugaray has served as human resources manager with Penske Motor Group.
The recipient of a pair of associate degrees from Palomar College, Alicia Alzugaray went on to complete a bachelor's in Business Administration with a specialization in Corporate and Supply Chain Management from California State University, East Bay, in 2015 and has earned human resources certificates in a variety of subjects. She is working towards her Professional in Human Resources certification and holds a membership with the Northern California Human Resources Association.
